LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 12, 2019) – Dedicated to providing Commercial HVAC Excellence, Harrison Energy Partners (HEP) announces an agreement with Johnson Controls (JCI), to become an Authorized Building Controls Specialist (ABCS) contractor. This enhances HEP’s offerings and affirms the commitment to provide an open protocol controls solution, a markedly different approach from competitors seeking to lock clients into proprietary software tools and long-term, high-cost parts and service agreements.
As an ABCS contractor for Johnson Controls, Harrison Energy Partners now carries the Facility Explorer® and Verasys® product lines. Facility Explorer Building Automation System, a Niagara®-based platform, offers network-wide coordination for multiple sites and buildings, while Verasys Building Controls System provides a turnkey solution for light commercial properties. These two solutions make up a building automation portfolio able to meet any commercial or industrial building management need.
“We are very excited to have Harrison Energy Partners as our new ABCS partner serving the Arkansas and Oklahoma regions,” said Dan Preston, director for Johnson Controls Independent Distribution Channel. “Harrison Energy Partners and Johnson Controls share much in common, such as our passion to serve our customers and our passion for the HVAC industry.”
“We believe building owners deserve to have a choice when it comes to who services their building automation systems which is why we support open systems,” echoed Bill Harrison, CEO for Harrison Energy Partners. “Both Johnson Controls platforms fit perfectly in our wheel house, and adding such an engineering powerhouse only amplifies HEP’s ability to serve our markets well.”
